Why Flicka Voyages and Adventures?
We named our intrepid 32 foot, 1976 Allied Seawind ketch, a seaworthy and sea kindly sailing vessel if there ever was one, Flicka, which means “a beautiful young girl” Indeed she is beautiful. Our “land boats”, modest travel trailers one and all, carried us to land adventures throughout the United States and Canada.

This blog is about the places we visit, the people we meet and the stories they tell. I write this to celebrate all of that.
